So many things happening around town to see, trees have been in bloom, and daffodils, tulips, purple hyacinth as well. We even saw some pink double blossom peonies on one of the streets off of Johnson on the South end of town yesterday, in the gloomy weather we had that day.
There have been elk all over the place, and as we live out West of town, we see them frequently in our travels. We were told about some great horned owl chicks in the natural area on Cascade and 22nd Street. Really fun to see, as well as watching the osprey raise their young on Namaqua Road South of highway 34.
Can't wait for a nice sunny day to have a picnic at the park on 1st St. East of Taft, more on that later...
